The pad has 2 sides: a raised one for cleansing and exfoliating and a smooth one for moisturizing. The embossed side helps to remove makeup residue, dead skin, and excess sebum. The fabric base of the pads is made of environmentally friendly biodegradable material. Forceps for hygienic use are included with the pad package. The unusual rectangular shape allows the product to be used on large areas of the skin. The packaging is decorated with the image of Pokemon Charmander.
